How to Turn On or Off Nest Home Away Assist
To Change Nest Home Away Assist setting on your nest you need to do the following:
Open the nest app.
Click on the nest thermostat you want to turn off the Home Away Assist for.
Click on the settings menu in the upper right hand corner of the app that looks like a gear.
After clicking on the gear a menu will pop up the very first menu item is “Home/Away Assist” click on the menu button.
With the “Home/Away Assist” Button now open slide the menu bar to on or off. Blue indicates on, grey indicates off.

How To Turn On or Off Nest Auto Schedule
To Change Auto Schedule on the nest thermostat do the following:
Open the nest app.
Click on the nest thermostat you want to turn off the Auto-Schedule for.
Click on the settings menu in the upper right hand corner of the app that looks like a gear.
After clicking on the gear a menu will pop up the second menu item is Auto-Schedule click on the menu button.
With the “Auto Schedule” Button now open slide the menu bar to on or off. Blue indicates on, grey indicates off.
