We show you how you can connect your Arlo Smart Camera to any Amazon Alexa device that has a screen. You can connect the Arlo cameras to both the Echo Show and the Echo Spot. To get Arlo to work with Alexa you need to use the Alexa App and enable the Arlo Skill. Arlo cameras and Alexa are a great combination if you don’t have any existing wiring for a security camera. Arlo Pro Cameras are entirely wireless and operate on batteries meaning you can place them anywhere without the need to run new wiring. The Arlo cameras are also fully rated to be placed outside and made to endure the elements. With Alexa commands you can pull up the live feed of your Arlo Camera on the Echo Show or Echo Spot. To get Arlo to work with Alexa once Alexa and Arlo are are up just say “Alexa, show me my Arlo Camera” and alexa will pull up the live feed of your Arlo Camera. The live feed will allow you to see and hear your Arlo camera but will not let you have two way communication through the Arlo cameras as of December 2018. You can still have 2 way communication through your Arlo Cameras and a compatible phone or tablet.
